This page explains how RoadReadyHub makes money, and how that’s kept separate from what we write.
Affiliate links
At the time of writing (September 2026), RoadReadyHub doesn’t contain any affiliate links. We’re publishing this page now so our approach is clear before that changes.
An affiliate link is a link to a product or service that pays the website a commission if you buy through it. You don’t pay any more than you would by going to the seller directly.
If we add affiliate links in future, these rules will apply:
- We’ll only link to products that are genuinely relevant to learner drivers and motorists, such as theory test revision apps, learner driver insurance or dash cams.
- Any page that contains affiliate links will say so near the top.
- Earning a commission will never decide whether we recommend something, or where it appears in a comparison.
- Where an official service exists, such as booking a driving test or applying for a licence, we’ll always link to the official GOV.UK service rather than a paid alternative.
Advertising
RoadReadyHub is supported by display advertising, which may include ads served by Google AdSense. Ads are chosen by the ad network, not by us, and they’re kept visually separate from our guides. An ad appearing on a page doesn’t mean we endorse the product. Our cookie policy explains how advertising cookies work and how to control them.
No paid articles
We don’t accept payment to publish articles, reviews or links, and we don’t publish sponsored content dressed up as editorial. If that ever changes for a specific piece, it will be clearly labelled as sponsored.
